Rediscovering Motherhood: Where Seeds of Strength Bloom, Hearts Heal, and Joy Takes Flight

Eternity awaits

Where pain leaves a scar love waits, but the promise of eternity shines its light in the darkest of dark nights.
Joy,eternal joy will be the moment I see your faces.
The tears will be happy tears.
The joy,the eternal joy is the knowledge that when that day comes there will be only Hellos. Goodbyes will NEVER be said again.
Eternity awaits.

In the beginning

Loss of identity is one thing I definitely felt when the three children I had left died suddenly. Mother’s Day was especially difficult because it was also the day my youngest son died. It was like I was left alone. I had family and friends for support, but no one to call me mom. I didn’t know if the title mother or mom was even mine to claim. No matter how many times I heard “Happy Mother’s Day,” I found myself saying “I’m not a mom anymore.” Those close to me would say, “Yes, you are!” In time, I began to embrace the word and felt that yes I was! It is the reason I chose Motherhood Rediscovered as the title for my blog.
